Allied Construction Services Writing Samples

Here are some copywriting samples of my work for Allied Construction Services. They include:

Video Script for National Roofing Week

It’s National Roofing Week, but let’s be honest.

Roofs are boring.

Most people only think about them when they leak.

They take them for granted, but roofs are the most important part of a building.

They keep the water out, and protect us from the sun.

Walls are important, but without roofs you can’t have a home.

So here’s a tip of the hat to the thing that matters most,
and most people don’t think about.

But I do. I know how important they are.

That’s why I’m proud I’ve been putting roofs over people’s heads for more than 25 years.

Happy National Roofing Week.

Customer Email

You make a 50 cent phone call to request a free roof inspection and we’ll invest $387.43 to send a guy out. Sound crazy?

Maybe.

That’s how much it costs for our “roof mechanic” to drive out, walk a roof and write up the free maintenance report, including drive time, salary and gas. That works out to a 774.86% return on your “investment”.

Why “roof mechanic”? You take your car into your mechanic for maintenance checkups because it’s a big investment and you want to protect it.

Roofs are also large investments that need regular maintenance too.

“But we’re in a drought. It’s not going to rain. I’d rather save the money.” Smart thinking. We hear that a lot. But first off, it’s free so you risk nothing.

Secondly, water doesn’t damage your roof. The sun’s UV rays do. You wear sunblock to protect your skin from UV rays, imagine what they’re doing to your roof every day.

So, what do you get? Here’s the deal, plain and simple:

You request free maintenance inspection.
Our guy checks out your roof.
We tell you what we find.
Maybe it needs attention, maybe not. Either way is fine.
You tell us whether or not you want the work done.

“I don’t want some sales guy pestering me.”

We get it. We hate “mosquito” salespeople too and will make sure we don’t bug you.

Here’s the best part about this report. It’s the peace of mind you’ll get from knowing you’ve done your job, and your roof’s in good shape. Now you can check it off the list of “things I should do but for some reason don’t” and forget about it.

At the very least, consider this one of the perks of doing business with us.

Please call us at (925)724-2324 or email us.

Thanks for your time.

Respectfully,
Jason Rittenbach
President, Allied Construction Services

P.S. And seriously, if you haven’t had your roof checked out for the past couple of years. It’s time.

{{Recipient.FirstName}},

When the first big storm hits, we always get tons of leak repair calls.

Is your roof ready for the rain? We can guarantee it is.

Here are some common issues we often find on roofs, some of which still surprise us:

  • Cracking mastic around roof penetrations and drains.
  • Splits at the edge of plywood sheets(decks).
  • Trash, broken bottles and rocks are expected, but bullets? It happens far more often than you would think, especially on warehouses. What goes up must come down.
  • Large areas of ponding water caused by improper drainage.
  • Missing walk pads around roof hatches and equipment systems.
  • Nails on plywood decks that work their way back up through the roof membrane.
  • Fine powdery dirt collects around drains, blocking drainage. The surprise? How often little gardens of moss and weeds are thriving in it.

Now is the time to be proactive. Want to make this winter’s wrath won’t put a beating on your roof?

We have a few tricks up our sleeve to keep your roof leak free, all winter long!

Don’t delay, call us today for your FREE roof inspection at  (925) 548-9748.

Focus on your business – and we’ll take care of your roof.

Respectfully,
Jason Rittenbach
President, Allied Construction Services
