About Me

I didn’t plan this.

After 30 years building web infrastructure and 15 years writing direct response copy, I followed an instinct to Princeton. No plan. No map. I was just minding my own business, trudging along, enjoying killer sunsets on the beach in California, and then my whole life disassembled itself. Perfectly.

The next thing I knew, I was on a 3,400-mile mythical journey from the San Francisco Bay Area to Princeton.

I arrived, and after a conversation with a brilliant friend, I discovered the hidden path I had been looking for. The path to the biggest idea I’ve seen since the .com land rush.

I’m Donovan Rittenbach — AEO Architect, author of Prompt Virtuoso, founder of My AI Web Guy. I hold a BA in Psychology and the world’s first Master’s degree in Multimedia from Cal State East Bay, 1997.

I’ve worked with Siemens, Roche, Oral-B, the San Francisco Opera, and the California Academy of Sciences. I’ve generated multiple seven figures for clients. A single landing page sold $1.1M in construction jobs in 48 hours.

But none of that prepared me for what I watched happen next.

The traffic started dropping. On my sites first. Then everyone else’s. I started asking why — and the answer changed everything I thought I knew about marketing.

AI wasn’t changing search. It was replacing it.

That insight became the foundation of the Firehawk Methodology — a system for Memory Engineering that gets companies named by the Four AI Sales Pirates (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity) when buyers ask who to call. The Dark Pipeline — the revenue bleeding invisibly through AI conversations — was real, and most businesses had no idea they were paying the Hallucination Tax. Every Ghost RFP happening in AI chat was a Silent Exit they’d never see in their analytics. I built the AIBAI Diagnostic to map it, and Princeton Intelligence Group to fix it.

And I realized I was the only person who’d spent 30 years learning how machines read content and 15 years learning how humans respond to it.

A poet once told me the way you know you’re on the path is the path disappears.

Well, that path disappeared, and then I found myself in Princeton.

That’s when I found what I think is the single biggest needle mover since people the dot.com domain grab.

That’s where I have chosen to focus all my efforts for myself and customers who don’t want to be among the Forgotten, when the new round of LLM training is done.
